Planets & Constellations

Venus and a Crescent Moon were low on the horizon after sunset during the Perseid’s Meteor shower.
The ‘Great’ Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn was photographed on December 21, 2020. It’s been nearly 400 years since the planets passed this close to each other in the sky.
The most prominent northern winter constellations are Auriga, Canis Major, Canis Minor, Carina, Eridanus, Gemini, Monoceros, Orion and Taurus
